Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Nirbhay Foundation, we are committed to transparency and ensuring donor satisfaction. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which donations or payments made to us may be refunded or cancelled.

Donations

• Voluntary Nature of Donations: All donations made to Nirbhay Foundation are considered final and voluntary. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on these funds to support our rescue, rehabilitation, and animal welfare efforts.
• Refund Request for Donations: If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing, we will honor your request for a refund if it is made within 7 days of the donation. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used at the time of donation.

Event Registrations and Program Fees

• If you have registered for an event or program (such as adoption drives, volunteering, or educational workshops) and need to cancel, please notify us at least 7 days prior to the event to be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made after this period may not be eligible for a refund.
• In the event that Nirbhay Foundation cancels an event, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to another event.

Adoption Fees

Non-Refundable Adoption Fees: Adoption fees help cover medical care, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and other care provided to our animals. These fees are typically non-refundable once the adoption process is completed. However, under special circumstances (e.g., if the adoption is cancelled within 48 hours for any valid reason), partial refunds may be considered at the discretion of the Foundation.

Processing Refunds

Once a refund request is approved, we will process the refund within 14 business days. Depending on the payment method, it may take additional time for the refund to reflect in your account.

Payment Discrepancies

If you notice any discrepancies or unauthorized charges on your payment, please notify us immediately. We will investigate the issue and take appropriate action to resolve it, including providing a refund if applicable.

Cancellation of Recurring Donations

For recurring donations, you may cancel your donations at any time. Please contact us at fnirbhay@gmail.com to cancel or modify your recurring donations. Please allow 7 business days for the cancellation to take effect.
